Most important softskills according to Belgian employers are work ethics, problem solving, adaptability, creativity and communication skills. How can we train students in these softskills so that they are better prepared for the job market?
Abstract
Soft skills are personal attributes that influence how well you can work or interact with others. These skills make it easier to form relationships with people, create trust and dependability, and lead teams. Soft skills strengthen other skills and abilities, and teams with these skills will be equipped to adapt more quickly and easily as the future of work continues to evolve. Assessing soft skills should be an essential part of the hiring process for potential employees and contractors. How can we train students in their softskills during education in order to better prepare them for this future jobmarket?
