Frivilligcenter Rebild is a newly started NGO situated in Støvring, Denmark. Our primary goal is to support the growth and thriving of the local community. We do this primarily by assisting and helping new or existing voluntary associations, and also by helping citizens in our municipality to find the right group or union for them to participate or volunteer in.

A big challenge is the rural nature of the municipality of Rebild and the limited public transportation options. This prevents a lot of citizens from joining and engaging in a group or voluntary associations, simply because they cannot get to where the activity or meeting is. Many of the people who are affected by this challenge cannot drive themselves or do not own cars, and the distances are more often than not far too great for walking or biking.

We seek ideas or solutions that can help us overcome this challenge of transportation.
